Our school’s annual May Day event took place last week on Thursday, May 25. The event was said to be a success, with students talking about the fun they have had at May Day. There was food, games, a hypnotist and a dance at the end.
Contrary to past May Days (and one Hay Day), the grade 8 guests did not attend the dance.
But at least this year’s event took place in May, unlike last year’s Hay Day, which took place in April, hence the absurd name change.
Students particularly enjoyed the three bouncy castles that were set up and the hypnotist hypnotizing fellow students to do outrageous things.
